Raven, the black wolf on the left side is from the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. . On the right side of the Kinetic painting is another wolf from the Sanctuary named Zeus. Sometimes people think they would like to have a wolf for a pet and are able to purchase from breeders wolf hybrids. Wolves are not dogs and don’t do well when left alone for hours while their people (pack-mates) leave for work or vacation. There are over 100 animals at the Sanctuary now that didn’t make good pets because their people didn’t understand that they had a wolf, NOT a dog. A portion of the sale of paintings involving wolves from the rescue center go to further their cause to help keep these animals from being put down.
