My beautiful sister, Veronica is my inspiration for Magician. She is wrapped in a black and red Pendleton blanket and the raven with her wing spread is part of the sun design. It is said in legend that Raven was once a bird with feathers white as snow and she flew too close to the sun and the sun burned her feathers coal black. My Raven friend is "Grizz" and she lives in Colorado where she is cared for by Crow Woman. Crow Woman's specialty is rehabilitating birds of the Crow family.
