​The eagle feather is painted with four horses that represent the Rainbow of Mankind:  Red, Yellow, Black and White.  The Appaloosa pony is patterned with many colors to represent harmony.  After finishing the painting and thinking about what I would call it,  a phrase from the Dick & Jane Reader came to mind.   I chuckled a little to myself as I named it “See Spot Run”.  It seemed the perfect title.

The donkey's name is Rambo and he is full of mischief. I'm sure he would have liked a chance to nibble on Geraniums, instead of having them decorate his hat. Rambo lives in Castle Rock, Co with his owners Jim and Cindy.  Rambo is quite a character! ​

Star Bears
​A large Grizzly Bear  against a star-lit sky with the constellations "Big Bear" and "Little Bear" or Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.  Two Grizzly bears  flank  both sides of the large bear. They are sweeping the cosmic dust with their giant paws and creating comets and colorful Nebula's that form the Star Bears.

Los Lobos
​The larger wolf, in the background, is from the original Candy Kitchen Wolf Rescue Center, that is now called Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary.  His name is Zeus and he is about 2 years old.  He is guarding the three wolves on the eagle feather.  Los Lobos is Spanish for “The Wolves”.

Manu
was severely abused by being tied in a yard to a tree and neglected. When he was brought to the rescue center, he was nearly dead. The vet said he had not more than a week left.  The people at the Candy Kitchen Wolf Rescue worked with him for months, restoring his physical health and working on his mental health. Wolves are by nature a social animal and Manu wanted nothing to do with people or wolves. Over a long period of time, various female wolves were introduced to him and he chased them away until one day they brought Sequoia into his pen. She was an Alpha female and did not tolerate his attitude. There was a click and it was love a last for good old Manu. No we know behind every successful Manu is a good woman.

The White Buffalo is a rare occurrence in nature and when one is born the Native
American cultures have considered it a sign of Peace.  White Spirit Buffalo is separated from its opposite brown buffalo by crystals that embody  Light, Peace and Love.  Everything is balanced by its opposite.  One cannot exist without the other.
